Billboard Top 10 recording artist, “Living Legend” Glam Award winner, “Visionary Award” winner by the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts, USA Songwriting Competition Grand Prize winner, Independent Music Award winner and was knighted by the Imperial Court of NY. Ari has been featured on VH-1, MTV, BBC, Top Of The Pops, Bravo and LOGO w/ more #1 Videos than any artist. Ari’s music has been heard on hit TV shows Scrubs and Cougar Town. He’s received critical acclaim in People Magazine, Vibe, W, V, New York Magazine, Perez Hilton, HuffPo, Advocate, is an OUT100 recipient, and was New Yorker of The Week on NY1 (Spectrum).

Ari’s first music video “Wave Of You” debuted with the launch of the LOGO Network, his second video “Love Will Take Over” from the album Space Under Sun, bumped Madonna out of the top spot, and “Where The Music Takes You” from his critically acclaimed third studio album Transport Systems, hit the Top Billboard 10 Dance. He’s collaborated with Boy George (“Underneath This Earth”), Desmond Child (Top 10 UK hit “I’m All About You”), Dave Koz (IMA Best R&B Song “Love Wasn’t Built in a Day”), and Sarah Dash, (from Labelle, on “Sparkle”) off his fourth critically lauded album Between The Spirit & The Flesh.

As a child vocalist, he sang on over 400 TV and radio jingles, voiced characters for Jem and the Holograms and Cabbage Patch Kids, and sang on Diana Ross's record Swept Away.

Sir Ari is a published essay writer and podcaster with “A Kiki From the Cancer Ward” featuring guests Laverne Cox and RuPaul. After his remixed retrospective, Play My F**kn Remix, Ari released his fifth studio album in 2015 with GoldNation, Soundtrack To Freedom. His third remix album, Remix To Freedom with GoldNation commemorated the 50th Anniversary Of Stonewall.
Ari passed on February 14th, 2021 at 47 after a long battle with leukemia. He will be remembered as a trail-blazing LGBTQIA+ Artivist and will be missed by fans the world over!
